What’s in it for you?
Access for AI
Your AI agents can use real data and systems – instead of guessing.
One standard, not silos
MCP connects many systems over one protocol – built once, cleanly.
Secure & auditable
Read-only by default, fine-grained permissions, audit logs. Nothing leaves your network unintentionally.
No lock-in
Open standard, custom code – no no-code service in between that you have to rent.
What I connect
Microsoft 365
SharePoint, Teams, Outlook – where most people already work (with permission inheritance).
Databases
PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server – controlled read access with logging.
ERP
SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 – orders, inventory, documents.
CRM
Salesforce and HubSpot – contacts, records, notes.
Legacy & your own APIs
SOAP, FTP, CSV/Excel – and everything you built yourself (REST/GraphQL).
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard through which AI agents talk to external systems, data and tools in a standardized way. Instead of building a custom one-off for every connection, there is one protocol – provider-independent and without vendor lock-in.
I build custom MCP servers that cleanly wrap your existing system (Microsoft 365, database, ERP, CRM or legacy) and make it securely accessible to your AI agents – read-only by default, with clearly limited permissions and logging. The MCP server is the access layer; what the agent then does with it (e.g. automating tasks) is the next step – see AI Automation.
Typical use cases
- Find and summarize documents across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 sites
- “What’s the order status / stock level?” – straight from SAP/ERP in natural language
- Query CRM data (Salesforce/HubSpot) and update notes or status
- Reporting via natural-language database queries (read-only)
- Move data from PDFs/documents into the ERP in a structured way
- Query and update project status in Jira
How it works
- Runs locally or on your server. Support with GDPR.
- Inventory: which systems, which data, what first?
Initial call, on-site in the region or online - Build the MCP server / connector (read-only, clearly scoped)
- Connect it to your AI agent
- Test, audit, operate
Good to know
Most companies already have their data and tools – they’re just not reachable for AI. Copying, exporting and manual handovers don’t scale. Integration builds the secure bridge so AI can really work with your systems.
I rely on MCP as the standard and on custom code – a framework only when it brings a clear advantage. No no-code platforms: you keep control, your data stays where it belongs, and there’s no ongoing dependency on a third-party service.
Do I have to put my data in the cloud?
No. Access is read-only by default and the MCP server can run locally or on your own server – your data stays in your network.
Which systems can be connected – even old ones?
Yes. From Microsoft 365, databases, ERP and CRM to legacy systems via SOAP, FTP or CSV – and your own APIs.
What does an integration cost?
Smaller integrations can be scoped well, larger ones depend on the effort. The scope needs to be assessed individually per system.
How long does it take?
Typically 1–4 weeks per system. I deliberately start small and expand step by step.
Am I locked in to a vendor?
No. MCP is an open, provider-independent standard, and there’s no no-code service in between – you keep control over your data and systems.
Why work with me?
I have been developing software for over 25 years and use AI in practice every day. You get a connection that actually works – pragmatic, clearly explained and tailored to your systems.
Experience
Over 25 years in software development, databases and AI.
Standards, not lock-in
MCP and custom code – maintainable, auditable, without third-party dependencies.
Regional & personal
On-site in Bamberg/Nuremberg or online – one fixed point of contact.
Privacy from the start: runs locally or on your own server – read-only access, clearly limited permissions and support for a GDPR-compliant implementation.
